Adam Tillowitz, M.D.

Dr. Tillowitz joined Gastroenterology Associates in 2026 and treats all gastrointestinal disorders. A New Jersey native, Dr. Tillowitz went to Brown University for his undergraduate education and fell in love with Providence and the state of Rhode Island. He then completed medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York before moving to Washington D.C. for residency in internal medicine at George Washington University. Dr. Tillowitz then moved back to New York to complete his gastroenterology fellowship at Mount Sinai Morningside/West, where he was selected to be chief fellow. Over the course of his training, Dr. Tillowitz was published in several major journals and presented research at multiple national conferences. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), and the Rhode Island Medical Society (RIMS). Dr. Tillowitz loves spending his free time with his wife and son, and he enjoys cooking, film, and Premier League soccer. Dr. Tillowitz is comfortable conducting patient encounters in Spanish.
