ERCP is a complex procedure which combines upper endoscopy and x-ray for the diagnosis and mainly treatment of disorders of the bile duct and pancreas. It is commonly used to remove stones from the bile duct and to put stents into the bile duct and pancreas duct for different diseases. This procedure is only done at the hospital.
